In this session of the entrepreneurship project, we worked on a key skill for any entrepreneurial initiative: professional communication. What happens when we need to communicate with someone we don’t know? How do we write to a company, an institution, or a potential collaborator to present our project? From this question, we introduced the concept of professional email as a business tool. We discovered that an email can be much more than just a simple message: it can be a cover letter capable of generating opportunities and opening collaborations. During the session, we analyzed the basic structure of a good professional email: - Clear subject line that explains the purpose of the message. - Introduction of the team, explaining who we are and what project we are developing. - Explanation of the entrepreneurial mission, showing the problem we want to solve. - Specific request, indicating what type of collaboration or help we are seeking. - Polite closing and expression of gratitude. Once the structure was understood, the teams began drafting a real email related to their project. The team communicator led the drafting of the message, while the rest of the group contributed ideas and ensured that the text was clear, respectful, and convincing. In addition to working on linguistic competence, the activity allowed for the development of digital competence and social skills, reinforcing the idea that effective communication is an essential part of entrepreneurship. Ultimately, today we learned a fundamental lesson: Good ideas are important, but knowing how to communicate them is what allows those ideas to reach further.
