In this mission, our students take a fundamental step in their entrepreneurship project: understanding and managing real money. Until now, they have worked on their ideas, products, and proposals, but the time has come to analyze how much it costs to make their business a reality and how they can make it sustainable.
The main challenge has been to create their own business budget. To do this, they have identified the necessary materials to create their product or service, researched their prices, calculated the required quantities, and obtained the total production cost. This process has allowed them to understand that any project requires planning, organization, and decision-making based on real data.
Additionally, the students have worked on revenue forecasting, imagining different sales scenarios: from the most cautious (pessimistic) to the most ambitious (mega!). Based on these estimates, they have calculated potential revenues and profits, discovering the direct relationship between costs, income, and results.
This mission has a dual objective. On one hand, it is educational, as it allows the development of mathematical competence through the use of operations with decimal numbers, solving real problems, and the practical application of calculations. On the other hand, it is business-oriented, as it introduces key concepts such as costs, money management, and the importance of making responsible decisions for a project to be viable.
Beyond the numbers, this experience helps them develop essential skills such as planning, critical thinking, responsibility, and autonomy. The students understand that a good idea needs organization and proper resource management to become a reality.
With this mission, our young entrepreneurs continue to advance in the creation of their business, learning to make informed decisions and getting closer to the real world through a meaningful and motivating educational experience.
